GLOBAL WARMING: A SEVERE THREAT TO SOCIETY

What is global warming?

In general terms, it is a climatic change where the earth is getting heated up.

The gradual rise in earth's temperature known as "global warming" is typically brought on by the greenhouse effect, which is brought on by elevated amounts of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants. Greenhouse gas concentrations are so high that earth became 1.1 times warmer than it was in 18 th century.

What is the cause of global warming?

Global warming has a number of natural and human-made causes. The natural one also contains methane gas, volcanic eruptions, and greenhouse gases. Deforestation, mining, cattle raising, burning fossil fuels, and other man-made causes are next. Greenhouse gases are caused by burning fossil fuels, most importantly carbon dioxide and methane are released into the atmosphere. Humans burn coal, oil and gas for their daily activities and add these greenhouse  gases to earth. Millions of vehicles release these  dangerous gases to the atmosphere daily.

Additionally, volcanic eruptions are a contributing factor in global warming. This means that masses of carbon dioxide are released during these eruptions, which fuels global warming. In a similar vein, methane is another significant factor contributing to global warming.

Why is it a threat to the world?

Environmental changes brought on by global warming may have a negative influence on human health. Additionally, it can result in an increase in sea level, which poses a threat to biodiversity, a change in precipitation patterns, an increase in the likelihood of droughts and floods, and the loss of coastal land.

Is there any solution to stop global warming?

It could be difficult, but it's not completely impossible. By combining our efforts, we can stop global warming. Governments and individuals alike must work together to accomplish it. The reduction of greenhouse gases must come first.

Additionally, they must keep an eye on gasoline usage. Change to a hybrid vehicle to cut back on carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, people have the option of using public transportation or carpooling. Recycling must therefore be promoted as well.

The government must control industrial waste and forbid the release of dangerous gases into the atmosphere.

What can be done from our end

Consider bringing your own cloth bag when you go shopping. Limiting your use of power is another action you can take to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. It is imperative to stop deforestation right away and promote tree planting.

To Conclude:

We must all be aware of how unhealthy our planet is. It requires care, and we may aid in its recovery. To spare future generations from suffering, the current generation must assume responsibility for halting global warming. Because of this, every action, no matter how modest, has great significance in halting global warming.
